How does SmartCemic measure glucose without blood?
SmartCemic uses Near-Infrared (NIR) spectroscopy combined with quantum-enhanced spectral analysis. When you place your finger on the sensor, NIR light passes through your tissue. Different molecules absorb light at specific wavelengths | glucose has a unique spectral signature around 1550nm. Our QESA algorithm processes this data with quantum computing to extract accurate glucose concentrations.
How accurate is SmartCemic compared to traditional blood tests?
SmartCemic QESA Pro is designed to target ±5% accuracy for glucose measurements, aligned with clinical-grade ISO 15197:2013 standards. Clinical validation studies are planned as part of our FDA submission process. For HbA1c, we are targeting ±0.3% correlation with laboratory HPLC methods.
Does skin tone affect measurement accuracy?
No. SmartCemic is designed to work across all 10 Monk skin tones (I-X). Our quantum algorithms include sophisticated melanin compensation that adjusts for varying skin pigmentation levels. This ensures consistent accuracy regardless of skin tone, making SmartCemic truly universal.
How is my health data protected?
Your data is protected with bank-level security. We use AES-256 encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. SmartCemic is fully HIPAA compliant with SOC 2 Type II certification. You own your data and can export or delete it at any time. We never sell your health information.
Can I share my data with my healthcare provider?
Yes! SmartCemic supports FHIR R4 and HL7 standards for seamless integration with Electronic Health Records (EHR). You can generate shareable reports, export data in PDF or CSV formats, or enable direct integration with your provider's system.
What is the FDA status of SmartCemic?
